These cool pictures above are of Gert-Inge Palm from Sweden, and his pride and joy, namely a fiesta red re-finished export Stratocaster JV27221.  This guitar has been the cause of much heartache for Gert, as things didn't exactly go to plan while he was rebuilding it, but at last here it is finished, and looking awesome!

Above:  David Wilkinson has sent in these photo's of his 1983 '62 Vintage JV Stratocaster, JV50069.  It has had a couple of small mods done to it, including new bridge saddles and tuners, but has also had what appears to have been part of a locking trem removed from the headstock.  It is also interesting to note the comparison photo showing the 1979 USA Anniversary model with the JV model:  And in Davids own words: "I now realise that these two guitars represent, in some way, the difference between Fender Japan’s products and Fender USA at the time. It’s very striking how un-contoured the CBS strat is!"

Above:  Another great looking fiesta red Squier JV Stratocaster, JV80113, this time a '57 vintage model owned by Alvaro.

Above:  I really love these '62 vintage three tone sunburst models! and this is a beautiful example, JV44819, owned by Anthony Broadstock of North West London.  It was purchased by Anthony in 1984 for £215 at Peter Cooks Guitar world, Hanwell (the very same shop that I purchased two of the Pro Tone Strats shown on the Pro Tone page;....One of the best guitar dealers in the UK, IMO!), and you can see that it has been really well looked after.

Above: This first issue '57 vintage Stratocaster JV01xxx has an interesting history, in that it was used by the very successful 80's UK band 'Squeeze, having been obtained by its present owner Malcolm Quick, from Alan Tillbrook (the brother of Glenn Tillbrook).

Above:  Yet another great example of the sunburst '62 model; JV60442, and proudly owned by Matthias Wutz from Germany.

Above:  Sebastian from Germany has sent in these pictures of his JV Stratocaster collection, plus a picture of the shipping tag from his latest guitar showing the original price paid (new) in DM.

Guitars are: From left to right: '62 vintage model JV10278;  '57 vintage model JV13220;  '62 vintage model JV31301; and his newest aquisition, '57 vintage model JV47774;  He says " I've sold all my other strats because my JV's give all I need to me".

Above:  Dimitri from Belgium sent us these pictures of his pride and joy, a '57 vintage JV Stratocaster, JV33913.

Above: A really beautiful first series Jazz Bass, JV00xxx owned by Richard Woolmore.  This guitar has the earliest Squier JV neck date found by this site so far! (21-04-82....see picture).

Above:  Here is my favourite colour JV Strat;  The 3 tone sunburst '62 vintage model (available from the spring of 1982 to the summer of 83), with it's cool dark brown burst.  This one is also an excellent example, JV31102 owned by Larry Cashdollar of  21 Frets, and The Squier JV Pages (visit the JV forum, see link below!).
